| Kanchenjunga (8585 m.), the third highest mountain in the world, is the abode of gods who bestow prosperity and benevolence on them and their lands. "Kang-chen-zod-nga", meaning "Five Great Treasuries Of The Snow", actually, has seven major summits and the avalanches that Kanchenjunga throws down are said to be the largest anywhere else in the world! Your journey to this remote area begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Biratnagar in the east of Nepal, followed by a drive to Basantapur (2220 m,) from where you head north to the villages of Chauki (2700 m), Gorja Gaon (2000 m), Amjilasa (2490 m), Ghunsa (3340 m), Khambachen (4040 m) and Lhonak (4790 m) to Pangpema (5140 m.) which also serves as the Base Camp for expeditions attempting the North Face of Kanchenjunga and the culmination of the first part of the trek. |

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu.
Day 3: Kathmandu.
Day 4-5: Drive to Taplejung Bazar. (1442m-4730ft).
Day 6: Taplejung Bazar, porter arrangement.
Day 7: Trek to Dandagaon.
Day 8: Trek to Khewang.
Day 9: Trek to Yanphudin. (1721m-5646ft)
Day 10: Trek to Omji Khola. (2400m-7874ft)
Day 11: Trek to Torantan. (3070m-10073ft)
Day 12: Trek to Tsheram. (3700m-12140ft)
Day 13: Trek to Okhang.
Day 14: Trek to Glacier Camp.
Day 15: Glacier Camp.
Day 16: Glacier Camp.
Day 17: Trek to Base Camp (South)
Day 18-50: Climbing Period Mt. Kanchenjunga.
Day 51: Clean up Base Camp
Day 52-56: Trek back to Taplejung Bazar.
Day 57-58: Drive to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel.
Day 59: Kathmandu.
Day 60: Kathmandu.
Day 61: Transfer to airport for departure.
